Spend the afternoon strolling from shop to shop, sipping wines from 12 local wineries, enjoying live music, discovering unique local art, and shopping our charming downtown businesses. It’s the perfect way to experience the best of downtown Gainesville with friends.

Join us from 1:00-5:00 pm to indulge in the region’s finest wines.

Your $50 ticket includes wine tastings from a variety of local wineries, a souvenir wine glass for tastings, and a reusable 6 bottle wine carrier.

What is the Gainesville Wine Stroll?

The Gainesville Wine Stroll offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm of the quaint boutiques and shops nestled in Historic Downtown Gainesville while indulging in the finest local wines. Sample a variety of selections from diverse North Texas wineries to delight your palate and discover your favorites.

Should I purchase tickets in advance or can I buy them at the event?

Tickets are limited so it is best to purchase in advance to be sure they don’t sell out prior to the event.

Participants must be at least 21 years old to participate in wine tastings. Don’t forget to bring along your valid ID for age verification at the entrance.

How do I know where to check in?

Check in will be at the Fire House 1918 Event Venue. Directions can be found here.

Is there designated parking for the event?

We have included information here indicating the parking areas closest to each check-in location.

What is the best way to navigate to the participating shops and boutiques in Downtown Gainesville?

We have created a map that can be found on the back of your tasting punch card so that you don’t miss a single location!

Will there be food options available during the event?

While the focus of the Gainesville Wine Stroll lies in the exquisite wines and local shopping, you can expect to find delicious snacks and light bites from our local restaurants to complement your wine-tasting journey. See participating restaurants here.

May I bring my own alcoholic beverages?

Sorry, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the Gainesville Wine Stroll. With a splendid array of Texas wines to enjoy throughout the event, you won’t be left wanting for libations.
